1. Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony
Santa Claus will light the tree for the 2023 holiday season. Sing-a-long with traditional carols. Hot beverages will be served. In the spirit of giving, please bring canned goods or a new, unwrapped toy for those in need in our community. December 1, 5:30 pm, at the Bayard Cutting Arboretum.
2. Town of Islip Holiday Market & Islip's Annual Parade and Christmas Tree Lighting
Do your holiday shopping at our many craft and gift vendor booths. December 2, 12-8, Islip Town Hall.
Come see Santa Claus at the annual Christmas parade in Islip, right on Main Street, December 2, 4:30 pm.
3. Oakdale Christmas Tree Lighting
Annual Christmas gathering with the tree lighting, Christmas music in a cappella harmony, hot cocoa, cookies, and a visit from Santa! December 2, 3-7 pm, at Oakdale Long Island Railroad Station Park.
4. 4th Annual Holiday Lights Drive-Thru
Drive through a winter wonderland at Brookwood Hall, starting this Saturday, December 2, 5-8 pm.
Food trucks, train rides, s'mores, hot chocolate and cider, treats, kids activities, caroling, Christmas karaoke at True North Community Church, December 4, 6:30 pm.
