1. Islip Drive-Thru Holiday Lights
Take a drive through Brookwood Hall in East Islip from 5-8 pm on Tuesday and Thursday to view the holiday lights. FREE.
A three day Holiday Market Festival at the Bay Shore Band Shell on Main Street in Bay Shore. Vendors, artisans and performers will be there making the event extra special. December 15, 16, and 17.
Enjoy some holiday merriment with breakfast, a Santa wishlist, pictures with Santa, and a goodie bag at Local Burger in Bay Shore. $18.99 on December 16, 10 am - 12 pm.
4. Holiday Pop-Up Artisan Show
First ever Holiday Pop-Up Artisan Show on Saturday and Sunday, December 16th and 17th from noon to 4:00 PM. The Pop-Up Show features artwork by local artisans, BAFFA’s Victorian Carolers and a sing-a-long, and a live reading of Silver Packages, a Christmas story, on Saturday afternoon. Sunday afternoon will feature holiday favorites by pianist, Maurice Kemp, and a live reading of Snowmen at Night. Children are invited to color a coloring book page, created by local artists, that will be displayed in the BAFFA Art Gallery. There will be a raffle to win two free tickets to any Main Stage performance at the CM Performing Arts Center.
Applebee’s of East Islip plans a fun-filled morning wit Santa, Mrs. Claus, and their elves. Bring the kids and enjoy a delicious breakfast while meeting Santa and his elves. There will be face painting, 50/50, crafts, and more. Don't forget to bring your camera to capture memories! Tickets cost $20 in advance. December 17, 8-10 am.
